30 Days in USA

Our long awaited honeymoon has finally came as we were pretty busy with our work schedule. It was totally worth it as we spent 30 days exploring different cities in USA.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Greyhound

One of the highlights for this trip is the overnight bus with Greyhound from SF - LA. The initial plan was to depart SF (Dec 26, 2019 at 11 PM) & arrive LA the next day at 7.25 AM.

1. Our bus at 11 PM was cancelled & we have to take the next bus at 6 AM.
2. Unfortunately, the bus stopped several times & there was a landslide that caused serious traffic.
3. Finally, when we were near LA, the bus driver told everyone to get off the bus & wait for another bus to LA (1 hour for the next bus) due to some stupid reason - Someone left their luggage in the bus & the bus driver was told to turn back.
4. Jeez, that happens at 6 PM which means we will most probably miss the flight.
5. We ordered Lyft but the driver wanted to charge us triple the rate & ended up cancelled on us.
6. Finally got picked up by another Lyft however the driver told us we will only arrive LA at 10 PM.
7. Thankfully, we get to reschedule our flight with JetBlue for Free & catch the morning flight to New York!

TREND HOTEL

We supposed to reach Los Angeles at 7.25 AM hence we thought its a good idea to book a hotel near LAX to catch our next flight at 9.15 PM. It was a smart move due to the tragic experience with Greyhound, at least we have a place to rest up.
