UNITED STATES CAPITOL
The United States Capitol is the meeting place of the Senate (North wing) & the House of Representatives (South wing) - the two bodies that compose the legislative branch of the American government.

PEACE MONUMENT
The 44-foot high Peace Monument erected in 1877 - 1878, were built to commemorate the naval deaths at sea during the American Civil War.
THE WHITE HOUSE
The official residence and workplace of the president of the United States.
NATIONAL MALL
National Mall is a landscaped park home to iconic monuments including the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. U.S Capitol is at the east and the White House is at the north with Smithsonian museums along the park.
LINCOLN MEMORIAL
A US national memorial built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
WASHINGTON MONUMENT
The 555-foot marble obelisk towers were built to commemorate George Washington, the United States' 1st president.
WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL
A memorial of national significance dedicated to Americans who served in the armed forces and as civilians during WWII.
It was such a moving experience for us standing here looking at the names of people who served and lost their lives in World War II.

SMITHSONIAN CASTLE
Completed in 1855, the Castle is the signature building and home to the Smithsonian Visitor Center. The Castle was the first Smithsonian building, designed by architect James Renwick Jr., who also designed St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC.
