URBAN LIGHT

A large-scale assemblage sculpture with antique lamps created by Chris Burden. Since its opening in February 2008, Urban Light has been unofficially adopted by Los Angeles as a symbol of the city.

These lamps were collected by Jeff Levine for about 20 years and he would go to the city when they were knocking them down. Eventually Chris bought the lights from him and turn it into this incredible landmark in Los Angeles.
