Desserts To Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

Some of the dessert we had in Los Angeles:
  1. Sprinkles Cupcake ATM - Beverly Hills
  2. Coolhaus - Culver City
  3. Blue Star Donuts - Silverlake
  4. Dominique Ansel Bakery - The Grove

SPRINKLES CUPCAKE ATM

If you have a sweet tooth, you can get cupcakes from an ATM available 24/7. Sprinkles introduced this innovative concept in 2012 and debuted the world's first Cupcake ATM. The bakers from Sprinkles bakery would placed each cupcake in an individual box and placed in the ATM then restocked when it is running low.

He tried the best seller - Red velvet with cream cheese icing (Chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting). The taste is too sweet for us but it was a fun experience though! You can also purchased their cupcakes in store at Beverly Hills.

COOLHAUS

Coolhaus is a leading women-founded ice cream brand creating premium cookie sandwiches and pints by Natasha Case and Freya Estreller in April 2009. Best known for their artisanal ice cream cookie sandwich with uniquely crafted flavors.

They also cater events for celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie etc. You can also find assorted flavors of prepackaged sammies (Ice cream sandwich) for takeout.

Peanut Butter Cap' N Crunch

I'm never a fan of ice cream or cookies but this one is a game changer. We came back twice because it is too delicious! We tried the peanut butter cookies with Captain Crunch cereal & Farmer's Market Strawberry Cheesecake (Mascarpone & Cream cheese ice cream, Fresh strawberry swirl & Graham Cheesecake bites), such a perfect combination of sweet meets savory.

BLUE STAR DONUTS

Blue Star Donuts is one of our favorite gourmet donuts in town. The chain's CEO and founder Katie Poppe started this business in 2012 focusing on brioche dough inspired by French patisseries. It's a sad news to hear that Blue Star Donuts have decided to shut down several locations in Portland due to the coronavirus pandemic.

DOMINIQUE ANSEL BAKERY

One of the best bakery in LA owned by Chef Dominique Ansel, who is best known for his invention of the cronut (croissant - donut hybrid).
