Genting Highlands Day Trip


Genting Highlands is around 1,5 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, it is nice to spend a day here at the breezy hills:
  1. Lunch at Loong Kee Wine Garden
  2. Visit Chin Swee Cave Temple
  3. Take Genting Skyway to Highlands Station
  4. Stroll around Resorts World Genting: SkyAvenue, SkyCasino, Skytropolis
  5. The Void: Avengers VR Experience

LOONG KEE WINE GARDEN

We had lunch at Loong Kee Wine Garden then off to visit Chin Swee Cave Temple, which is 10 min drive away.


The restaurant is located inside Genting Sports Centre, and there is a parking garage next to the centre.


Loong Kee Wine Garden offers local specialty dishes, fresh seafood and a wide selection of wine in a large indoor and outdoor seating area.

 
  

Signature Fried Pork
My all time favorite dish - Thinly sliced pork belly fried to crisp coated with caramelized sweet soy sauce


Steamed Marble Goby Fish (Soon Hock)
Soon Hock has a very delicate texture, best served steamed with soy sauce & topped with shredded ginger, scallions and coriander leaves.


Homemade Tofu with Seafood Sauce
This homemade egg tofu is served with prawns, crab stick, mushroom, snow peas, carrot & oyster sauce broth.

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms

After the meal, you can walk across the restaurant to visit Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms with an entrance fee, where you can pick your own strawberries.

GENTING SKYWAY

Next, we took Genting Skyway to get to SkyAvenue Genting. A one way ticket is RM8 per person, you'll reach Highlands Station within 15-20 minutes. 

SKYWAY AVENUE GENTING

Skyway Avenue Genting is a retail, dining and entertainment complex in Genting Highland. SkyCasino is also located within the mall.

 
 

THE VOID

Located on Level 1, First World Plaza in Skytropolis, Resorts World Genting. There are different genres of game where you can immerse yourself with VR experience. 


We've chose Avengers:
Duration: The game takes around 15 minutes
Cost: RM75 per person (Mon-Thurs) / RM85 per person (Fri-Sun, Public Holidays & School Holidays).
