After strolling Empire State Building, we went to Jongro BBQ for dinner. Korean BBQ & Soju is always a good idea to keep you warm during winter.
Jongro BBQ is located in the heart of Koreatown, Manhattan and it its 2 minutes walk from Empire State Building. We walked past the restaurant not noticing it is on the second floor of an office building.
Make sure you join "The Wait List" on Yelp app prior arriving the restaurant. I'm glad we did otherwise the waiting time would be at least 1 hour.
We came here with his high school friend who now lives in the United States and this place is recommended by him. The best way to find out if the restaurant serves authentic Korean food is to dine in with a Korean.
We were starving after a long and chilly day so we are ready for a big feast. Hence, we ordered the Beef Platter Set, Ox Tongue & Pork Jowl to share.
Beef Platter Set
- Assorted premium cuts of beef - Kalbi, Prime Ribeye, Beef Thin Skirt & Beef Brisket.
- You will get a complimentary soup of Soft Tofu/ Bean Paste with each platter.
