Doughnut Plant started as a delivery business when Mark Israel used to bake the doughnuts at his apartment in 1994. They have multiple stores in NYC:

There are 2 types of doughnuts here - Cake doughnuts or Yeast doughnuts
We tried both Yeast doughnuts which is more light, airy and fluffy compared to the cake doughnuts
