Our daily routine always start with a cup of coffee, here are some of the coffee shop we've tried in Los Angeles:
- Intelligentsia Coffee - Silver Lake. Multiple locations.
- Coffee MCO - Koreatown
- Blue Bottle Coffee - Multiple locations
Intelligentsia Coffee
It all started in 1995 when Doug Zell and Emily Mange find it difficult to get high quality fresh roasted coffee. Eventually they decided its time to open their own café by roasting their own coffee in store.
They have 2 roasting facilities located in Chicago & Los Angeles. Besides that, they also own a Coffeebar and Training Lab in New York providing educational services to wholesale client and the public.
Coffee MCO
We had breakfast at Coffee MCO before heading off to our next destination - Las Vegas. This is located in the heart of Koreatown so that's perfect for us because we just check out from the Airbnb in Koreatown.
Blue Bottle Coffee
A classical musician, W. James Freeman whom is also very passionate about coffee founded Blue Bottle Coffee in Oakland, October 2002. The premium coffee chain initially started off as a home-delivery service. Today this simple yet stylish, blue logo has grown to a network of cafes across the U.S., Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
