Motel Mexicola: That Showstopping Mexican Bar in Seminyak

Bright, Rainbow Colours, Happy Vibe is what you see and feel here in Motel Mexicola. I must say the bold interior design really stands out among the crowd.

Mon - Sun: 11 AM - 1 AM

This place has definitely created Instagram worthy photos all around the place starting from the entrance.

 

Once you enter, you will walk past an open courtyard with a bar in the middle. You would definitely order a drinks or two, come on you are in Bali for a vacation!

You can also grab a seat at the booth on the left of the main bar.

   

This is another famous spot for Instagrammers, the staircase leading towards the second floor surrounded with amazing art decor all around.

Motel Mexicola is pretty huge, this is the main bar and more seatings around the place. Everywhere you see around the corner is an explosive of colours that sparks joy and energy!

We only had Tacos, Quesadillas and Cocktails here, my personal favorite is Taco Baja (Tempura Fish) & De Queso (Quesadillas).

TACO BAJA

Tempura fish, White cabbage, Pico de gallo, Salsa gobernador
*My favorite among all

TACO CARNE ASADA

Australian sirloin grilled over coals, Fried onion, Salsa rojo, Fried padron pepper   

*I didn't like this because the meat is too well done for my liking

TACO MICHELADA PRAWN

Michelada battered prawn, Avocado, Coriander mayo, Tomatillo ginger salsa 

*The prawn looks big here but in fact it is very small with a thick batter coated with it

TACO DE PUERCO

Crispy pork belly, Coriander mayo, Radish, Habanero salsa

*His favorite among all

DE QUESO 

Grilled flour tortilla with fresh Mozzarella cheese served with Black beans & Pico de gallo

Another favorite of mine - You can see how crunchy is the quesadilla and it tasted perfect with the Pico de gallo (Pickled onions).

COCKTAILS

I loved all the cocktails here and they are generally quite strong in alcohol.

PARKING

There is no parking in front of Motel Mexicola you will noticed how busy along the way on Jl. Kayu Jati. You can park at a nearby mall called Seminyak Village which is 600 m away.
