JingZhu Restaurant: Hearty Bowl Of Pan Mee In SS19

Pan Mee or Mee Hoon Kueh (Hand-torn noodles) is the specialty here in JingZhu Restaurant. It is a Hakka dish made with a simple flour-based dough with anchovy broth.

Mon - Sun: 7.30 AM - 3.30 PM (2 random day off per month)

We had the Soup Pan Mee that comes with generous amount of minced pork, sliced pork, shitake mushroom, sweet potato leaves topped with fried shallots and crispy fried anchovies. The noodles was cooked just nice not too thick with a slightly chewy al dente texture. I must say the winner here is the rich anchovy broth that is simply flavorsome!

They also have Dry Chilli Pan Mee here, the toppings are usually minced pork, fried shallots, crispy anchovies, poached egg and their signature fragrant chilli flakes.

Other than PAN MEE, they have Curry Chicken Rice, Dumplings, Soft boiled eggs and Toast. You must order the Coffee here, it is pretty good and bold.

The restaurant itself is not big but expect to see a busy crowd during peak hours. Thanks for posing in my picture bro!

They have 2 days random day off every month and it differs every month depending on the owner. Both day off on October 2019 falls on Tuesday, 8 Oct 2019 and 22 Oct 2019.
