Babi Guling Slingsing Buk Suci: Local's Favourite In Bali

If you ask a Balinese where to have the best Babi Guling in Bali, you will most probably hear Babi Guling Slingsing Buk Suci. If you search on Google, you will see them listed as 'Top 10 Best Babi Guling in Bali' on articles across the Internet.

This is not my favourite Babi Guling after all, well taste is very subjective.

Mon - Sun: 5 PM - 12 AM

You would easily notice this bright red sign, turn right into the alley way and the smell will lead you to the restaurant.

A tip by the local is come here early, its best to be here at 5pm (opening time). One funny story from my friend who ordered food delivery from GoJek, the driver bought a neighboring babi guling instead due to the long queue.

We managed to get here by 5.15 pm and the restaurant is already fully seated. 

All the dishes are displayed at the Food Counter. Your plate of goodness will be served shortly once you place your order.

Babi Guling is a classic Balinese dish in which different parts of pork served with rice. The usual pork dishes are suckling pig skin, spiced pork, fried pork, blood sausage, fried intestine and pork satay. Every restaurant have their own distinct way of cooking with their own choices of toppings.

NASI BABI GULING PISAH

We had Nasi Babi Guling Pisah where the dish and rice are separated. You can also opt for Nasi Babi Guling Campur where all the pork dishes will be served on top of the rice.

My favourite pork dishes here are the Crispy Suckling Pig Skin & Fried Pork.

PARKING

There is a parking space near the restaurant around 300 m. Look out for the sign 'Tempat Parkir Babi Guling Slingsing' which means 'Parking for Babi Guling Slingsing'.
