Amici Miei which translates as "my friends" in Italian is a hidden gem in Carlisle that serves a gorgeous range of traditional divine pizzas and homemade pastas.
The restaurant looks like a house that has been converted into a restaurant. Service was top notch, the waiter would regularly check on us if we need more water and also ask us for feedback about the food. Overall it is a wonderful experience as we felt very well taken care of throughout the meal.

San Daniele Pizza
Tomato Base, Fresh Rocket, Delicious and Prestigious San Danele Nobel Prosciutto
Caramella Pizza
Pumpkin Cream Base, Caramelized Onion, Crispy Bacon
This is highly recommended! I'm not a fan of pumpkin but turns out this is delicious! The sweetness of the pumpkin, caramelized onion and the saltiness of crispy bacon is such a perfect combo.
Amici's Carbonara
Bucatini Pasta, Egg & Cheese, Crispy Pork Belly, Pork Crackling, Parmesan
The carbonara is cooked in the traditional way with no cream. I find this slightly too salty for my liking otherwise it would be perfect.

Special Menu of the day
Tiramisu
The tiramisu is not bad but I personally prefer the one in Ciao Italia better.
Garlic Bread
We had this for our entree - The garlic bread has a strong aroma of garlic, olive oil, and herbs. This came to the rescue because we were starving.
We also BYO 2 bottles of wine across the road for our dinner
