Katsukura
🕔 Mon - Sun: 11.00 - 22.00
📍 11F, The Cube
Katsukura is my favourite tonkotsu by far! The dish is cooked to perfection with its golden brown panko breaded crust, crunchy and not greasy.
Moritaya
🕔 Mon - Sun: 11.00 - 22.00
📍 11F, Isetan Department Store at JR Kyoto Station
Moritaya serve Kansai style sukiyaki - Pan fried the meat in beef fats then browned with sugar, continued by adding soy sauce, sugar and vegetables.
I personally prefer Kanto style sukiyaki. Kansai style and Kanto style sukiyaki has different cooking techniques. For Kanto style, first prepare the warishita sauce, bring it to boil then simmer the meat and vegetables.
