Crown Towers Perth is the latest redevelopment of the Burswood area opened in December 2016. Perched on the banks of the Swan River and a 15 min drive from the city centre, the hotel is located next to Perth Stadium also linked to WA casino, Crown Perth.
Lobby
Designed by Bates Smart, Michael Fiebrich and Blainey North, the hotel features seven metre high ceilings in the lobby, custom-designed furniture, hand-blown glass lighting and generous rooms with panoramic views of Perth's skyline. The travertine stone and marble, neutral tones and textures textiles is one of the many design details courtesy of the all-star design team.
The unusual "woven" lobby ceilings
Spectacular chandeliers made with ball chains that shimmer like glittering beads. The ceiling had to be specially reinforced to support these pieces, designed by Adam Hoets and Bates Smart architects, made with 20,000 meters of ball chain and weighing three tons.
Premier Club View Suite
Lights, curtains, temperature and entertainment can be operated with fingertip controls along with Nespresso machine in the room. The hand-blown glass pendants hovering beside the bed is also a design details courtesy of the designers.
