 πŸ“  4 mins walk

The restaurant is next to Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor, you will need to walk in to a gate located between Soi 5 & Soi 7. There are no signs at the front which we missed a few times. Once you walk in, you will be amazed with the aroma and mostly Japanese dining in.

The food is highly recommended! For a second, I thought I was in Japan enjoying my Yakiniku and High Ball (Whisky + Soda). I am impressed they serve high quality meat also this is the best Ox Tongue I've tasted so far!

Make sure you call in for reservation as this place gets really busy.

After You Dessert Cafe is the most successful dessert chain in Bangkok with a tagline of

"There's always room for desserts"

It all started with Kulapat "May" Kanokwatanawan who always dreamed about opening a dessert restaurant as she have nowhere to have dessert at 3pm other than Starbucks. At the age of 25, she decided to open her own dessert restaurant. Started in 2007, now After You can be seen throughout Bangkok metropolitan area.

I also noticed they have a shop named 'After You Durian' when I was in Paragon Shopping Centre. This is their new product line introduced to the public in May 2017.

SABAI JAI GAI YANG

This place is tourist friendly providing menu with both Thai and English along with pictures.

Gai Yang (Grilled chicken)
Marinated to perfection served juicy and tender!
The extra fried onions gives it an extra kick to its flavour.

Pork Neck

Som Tam (Papaya salad)
My favourite papaya salad during the trip so far. I'll need to try more papaya salad to find out which one is the best.

Basil Pork
This is just so so. I prefer the basil pork from 7-11.

Coconut Shake & Thai Ice Tea

BUN MEAT & CHEESE BY HOMEBURG

πŸ•™ Tues - Fri: 17.00 - Sold out
 πŸ“  4 mins walk

This is INTERESTING it all started when I watch HOMEBURG on YouTube. He only make 4 burgers at a time starting from grinding the meat fresh. The waiting list can be up to months. This definitely sparks one's curiousity!

He loves burger so this is a Must Try on our food list.

The mastermind Taiki Rattanapong Tsubota is running a Pop Up Kitchen on 2nd floor, 72 Courtyard for 6 months at the moment. The contract ends on August 2019 and he plan to open a restaurant with just 4 seats.

We had a chat with Taiki about how we find out about his burger. He shared some insights about how he only wants to focus on making his burger precisely serving quality over quantity.

Another interesting part is Vegetables (Lettuce & Tomato) is self service, free flow.

Pop Up Kitchen

I'm amazed Taiki place each burger on a measuring scale when he added the sauce.
That is why the burger is not soggy with overflowing sauces.

170g beef patty with crispy bacon, melted cheese, caramelized onions, jalapenos
